Emphatically, Yes! It WAS worth it.

Get back to the job of just preaching the gospel,

If they had just preached the gospel there would not have been a "need" for the formation of the WPF. Kid in the sandbox can't get his way so he takes his toys and goes home.

it would be great if new ministers actually seemed to read the manual and everyone who decides to hold a license would adhere, (that said, you don't HAVE to apply and hold a fellowship card)

The constituents of the UPCI elect their leaders. Resolutions are passed. Bylaws are amended. If a minister does not agree with the changes being made, it is his or her prerogative to leave. Don't stay and make everyone else miserable.

And if everyone thinks WPF ministers are wrong practice Galations 6:1

Who said that the formation of the WPF was a sin? I am glad it was formed. Good riddance.
