You got it, Nighthawk.
You should hear the excuses, that I have received on another Forum, where most are Baptist.
1. The book of Acts is just History.
2. The Holy Ghost was just for the Jews.
3. The Holy Ghost, as in Acts was just for the Early Church.
4. The Holy Ghost as in Acts are not relevant, today. (Insinuating that we are too modern for it.)
5. All didn’t speak in tongues, using
1 Cor 12, as their scripture, not knowing that Paul was talking about the gifts of the Spirit, after the Spirit is received.
6. Tongues is just for immature, emotional people.
7. Tongues is of the Devil.
Me thinks, they do protest too much.
