Re: A thought on tithing
Imagine my disappointment when I went to a church that the pastor taught to obey him (not them) and that all my 10% went to the pastor only and any offerings I give goes to run the church.

You don't. For one thing, you don't know what it's like growing up in a Catholic church, THEN go to a Pentecostal church, that claims to be different.

Imagine my disappointment when I read the bible and found that the Romanist system of buildings called 'houses of God' along with the pseudo aaronic priesthood of men making themselves Lord over God's kingdom wasn't part of the New Testament church at all. I knew then that I had been foolish and fooled.

You guys need to get out more often. There are a lot of churches that aren't like the ones youve experienced. I'm sorry you had some negative experiences, but it's not monolithic out there.

Re: A thought on tithing
Does sending out warning letters to non-tithers follow what Jesus instructed his disciples to do or not?
I contend it does not and I contend that online high-five for this by certain un-named ministers exposes them as something besides what Jesus taught to do. If so, what does it make them?

It's pretty well monolithic when it comes to the church embracing a modified Romanist system. Go to google maps, search for "Dallas, TX churches" and you'll see what I mean. You'll find hundreds and hundreds of buildings called 'churches' which are built not upon New Testament teachings but on Romanist teachings.
