That would be a "how"; not a "because." And yes, there have been times when I have been on the organ and had to stare a hole in the wall to keep from busting a gut. Apparently that's because I'm carnal.
PEOPLE are funny, and I refuse to believe that God lacks a sense of humor. In fact, I have a feeling that a lot of stuff that goes on in church makes HIM laugh--probably with sheer enjoyment.

In the eighties we were having a service on Sunday night a lot of joy, & jumping around & there was a guy there who, how can say it delicately,
had a few fries short of a happy meal.
His worship was attracting attention, but we let him join in--not hurting anyone.
My Pastor walked over to the Organist who was not married & whispered "He's single."
She just about lost it.
Yup, sense of humour God has for sure.

That's a really delicate situation when you are having to sit them down and talk about it. You can either encourage them or crush them.

Sister, IM glad you could hold the laugh back, Im not good at that one!! I have been known to bust at times! I was visiting a church once, and it was a great service and the Spirit started moving and the pastor got his shout on. Well, He is a tall lanky fellow and honestly he looked like a flamingo running from an alligator that ya see on the discovery channel. I just couldn't hold it back, and the bad part is, when he and I became friends a lil later on, I told him about it!! He had another laugh with me!!!!!!
