I agree that God did not command me to marry anyone but He did say if I marry then I was to Marry then was to marry the opposite gender.
I was asking about how you would feel if the law prohibited you from marrying the opposite gender. Your response seemed to indicate you would disobey that law, because you would prefer to obey God. But God has not commanded you to marry! So your response doesn't really make sense.
More to the point, would you simply accept your fate and not complain? You would never be married and (here's where your belief in God's commands comes in) would therefore never have sex.

I never said it was ridiculous of anyone to demand tolerance. The key and whole point of it being ridiculous is because they [gays] are one of the most INTOLERANT groups around.

I can't really say I am surprised anymore. This forum has always made room for the more "outside the box" ideas, which is fine. However, I don't think anyone kept an eye on the door and then all this trash and nonsense started coming right in.
It's one thing to challenge tithing and standards. They need challenging. However, this whole pro-gay, iks ok to be a sodomite, I was born that way so God must approve of it stuff is sickening.
Maybe no one really ran off all the "ultra-cons". Perhaps they just couldn't stand the fact that sin was somehow acceptable now.
