Once you strike a man full force, causing damage, there are no more rules. Apparently, Trayvon Martin was poorly trained. He never took into account that if you punch a man full force in the face you might have to forfeit your life.

Even more concerning than the punch in the face, what if Zimmerman had no weapon, and TM kept pounding his head into the concrete? That could easily have killed him...or at least caused severe brain damage.

Exactly, and people want to say that his injuries were not all that damaging. Well, it appears that he stopped the altercation before the injuries went any further. That is his right to self-defense.

Really, what makes me so incensed about this whole issue, is the lynching being done to George Zimmerman's life - all the while - the mantra of honoring and preserving Travyon Martin's "Legacy" goes on.

Travyvon Martin is a classic example of what is wrong in the black community and why they are suspect in terms of crime. He was a punk and a thug. That is his legacy.

And I believe it is a high crime and travesty that the Prosecution (withholding evidence during Discovery), Trayvon's parents, the media and this Administration have gone to such great lengths to hide that evidence.

My second and underlying anger is the fact that Obama ran his campaign on a "no voucher" pledge. That was a huge red flag to me and I commented on that subject on this very forum when we were debating his candidacy in the first place.

Having no educational freedom when we, as Americans, are footing the bill is a travesty. I don't believe it is really a race issue, but a class issue - keep the poor, poorer - that encompasses everyone of color - red, yellow, black, brown, white and purple polka dots - Uncle Sam's Plantation.

Education is power. When that is taken away, you can only have Sheeple. Uneducated people like Rachel Jeantel, who is not really all to blame for her illiteracy, should strike up the band and yell - Let My People GO! But, I doubt we would get that from her. She claimed that the "jury" were "old school" - “None offense to the jury, they old. That’s old school people. We in the new school, our generation, my generation.”

Clearly a sad day for America.

And Rachel Jeantel's 'generation' is going to help take this country down...if politics don't change come election day! She's right, you know...her's is the 'new school'. Our kids are being brainwashed by the system. Just look at the difference in our country in just a few short years.

There is also a tit for tat on the pasts of both GZ and TM.

The pertinent information to know is that GZ had charges brought, but NO Convictions (2005). He had assault on law enforcement, resisting arrest with violence. Both dropped to resisting arrest without violence and then dropped all together.

On his domestic violence (2005) with Veronica Zuazo, she filed a motion for a Restraining Order and he counter filed. The Orders were mutual and eventually discharged.

George had obtained a lawful Conceal Carry license. That means that he passed BOTH a State and Federal background check. Had he ever been convicted or pled guilty to a felony, he would not have been able to obtain a CHL.

As to his relative (Witness #9) claiming "molestation", that is suspect. O'Mara talked about her trying to sell her story to People Magazine - very suspect. The Judge rejected the calls and the audio tape of her interview because her story was uncorroborated and, therefore, was not admissible.

Also suspect is her comment on George being a racist - "I can't remember anything, but that's just a known thing that that's how his family feels."

Im not trying to pick on you but your answers here are exactly how those that are GZ haters are. They ignore the facts that came out in the trial and the absolute lack of evidence GZ was a racist to portray GZ as some black hating "racist" who shot a 13 year old little black boy for nothing other than being black.

You can point out the facts all you want, they always get distorted by those on that side. I watched/listen to dozens of different apologists on CNN and FOX and each time the speaker was stuttering away trying to find a way to explain/get around the facts or they would ignore them completely and resort to the same "17 year old unarmed black boy" vs a profiling "white" man diatribe and Americans are buying it hook line and sinker because they go by emotions not rational reasoning.

I said it before but the world is ANGRY and it's ruining us. Muslims kill because of anger. Mass murders do it because of anger. Christians war over Politics because of anger.

I believe it's a sign of the end time
