Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

Remember the story of Huldah? She gave the word of the Lord to both kings and priests...Huldah was commenting on the meaning of the Scriptures and predicting the future, giving an authoritative message from God. She was quite a lady....

She was simply the most qualified person, and people accepted that.

Actually, many scholars believe it was to Israel's shame that a woman was a Judge & indicates their moral depravity (regardless, she did not expound from the Scriptures to men):

Well, until they get to church - then the roles can automatically flip !

Specifically where does this - or any other - text state that Huldah expounded from the Scriptures brought to her:__________?

Amazingly, Huldah refuses to expound upon the very Scriptures that were brought to her - but she did powerfully operate in the gift of prophecy - which is exactly what women are free to practice (if it's the real thing & not some foolishness {& that goes for men or women}).

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

In the New Testament we learn of other women who spoke the word of God. Mary sang praises that are now in Scripture (Luke 1:46-55). Anna was a prophetess (Luke 2:36-38). After Jesus was resurrected, he appeared to some women and gave them a message: "The women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples.

"Suddenly Jesus met them. `Greetings,' he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, `Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me' " (Matthew 28:8-10).

Strange Jesus would tell the women...go tell the men....if there were something wrong with a woman carrying God's message....
Jesus has no problem with women delivering commands to men. There is nothing inherently wrong with that. He gave them that authority by giving them the message, and in doing so, these women were speaking the words of the Lord. Jesus expected the men to listen to the women and obey the command they delivered.

The GO YE command was given to every believer...GO YE into all the world and preach....

Oh brother - Time for her copy-paste jobs .

Let's see, where to begin? I guess every person who tells someone about the Resurrected Savior is now to be considered in the official capacity of the teaching-preaching Eldership !

And, Yes, Jesus has a problem with "women delivering commands to men" in the church. How do we know? He said He did!:

11 A woman should learn in quietness and full submission. 12 I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve. 14 And Adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.

You or any other woman is out of their place when they "command men" (absurd) - & we will continue to teach what the Bible says about this so long as we may live !

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

Back to Deborah...

And Deborah, a PROPHETESS, the wife of Lapidoth, SHE JUDGED ISRAEL at that time. And she dwelt under the palm tree of Deborah between Ramah and bethel in mount Ephriam and the CHILDREN OF ISRAEL CAME UP TO HER FOR JUDGEMENT." (judges 4:4)

Now what do you thinks she told them? Some novel? Some comic story? No she gave them the word of the Lord...she had to have taught them for her reign brought 40 years of peace....

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

Do you preach from Deborah's song? Would that not be wrong to preach from a song a woman wrote?

Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam. Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.

Yes, but there was reason He "raised up" those Judges - & Deborah in particular.

And, you're only further revealing that you're not interested in biblical truth on this issue (as if that were possible) as evidenced in the fact that you did not even take the time read the excellent links I posted.

Finally, it's awfully funny how you'll tenaciously cling to what the Bible does "not" say above - then turn around & argue for almost 200 pp. about something the Bible does "not" say en-toto !

Hmmm, ya' think you might a lil' personal agenda going on here ?

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

We learned in our Jewish history course that "The Song of Deborah" is a very ancient poem, one of the earliest writings that the Bible preserves...very interesting...

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

Of course I know where you get those extra biblical opinions....Deborah was a prophetess and a judge...not all judges were prophets...I believe Samuel was...cannot think right off if any of the others were...
