Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
If we must always dwell on the disobedience of one woman, and blame her for the fall, then should we not equally dwell on the fact that it was the obedience of one woman that brought redemption to humanity?
Spiritually we are all restored but even so reconciliation does not alter the natural aspects of Edenic curses. If we deny the full spiritual rights to women, we are tampering with the basic tenets of redemption. In a woman’s full spiritual rights there are limits just as a man also has limits. For the head of woman is the man and the head of man is Christ. Just because a man is masculine that does not mean he can be what Christ is. He must fulfill his duty as a man and the same rule applies to women and there are some things that God has reserved for men. We all know that in the natural, the earth produces weeds and women labor in childbirth, even though the believer is baptized with the Holy Ghost. Redemption is a spiritual reconciliation. If redemption is not what we say it is, then both men and women are in horrible bondage. But thanks be to God; whom the Son hath set free is free indeed.
Gal. tells us we are all one in Christ Jesus... There is no scripture that forbits a woman to preach. There are scriptures that teach order in the home and the church. There are hundreds of scriptures that teach both men and women to speak in the church...

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
While the church leaders agree all must hear and obey to be saved, the clergy fuss about who tells the story. What difference does it make which gender pulls a burning person from the flame? Or what difference does it make that a man or woman, male or female, saves the drowning persons from a torrid river? Did the horrified soldiers care who answered the call that icy March afternoon in 1869 when Ida Lewis responded with haste to rescue the crying voices from the choppy waves at Lime Rock Lighthouse in Newport. One of the drowning men lost hope when he saw that it was a woman who came rowing out to save them. However, he was soon to change his mind after the job was successfully accomplished. She had fierce strength that wasn’t hers alone. Later, a newspaper recorded that she said that the Lord Almighty gave it to her when she needed it the most. (Women of the Lights, Candice Fleming, Albert Whitman & Co., Morton Grove, IL, 1996, 21.) Women can save lives just as men can.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
However we had been through this before and I don't have lots of time to spend here and will only do spend what time I can not because of rdp but because of women like Sister AO Holmes, Sister Rita Dawson, Sister Nona Freeman, and many other ladies that gave their all to Christ jesus...I still remember listening all my life to Sister Mary Williams and other mothers in Israel.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
In the Old Testament, women participated in the study and teaching of the law ( Nehemiah 8:2; Proverbs 1:8; Deuteronomy 13:6-11), in offering prayers and vows to God ( 1 Samuel 1:10; Numbers 30:9; Genesis 25:22; 30:6, 22; 2 Kings 4:9, 10, 20-37), in ministering "at the entrance to the tent of meeting" ( 1 Samuel 2:22), in singing at the worship of the Temple service ( Ezra 2:65), and in engaging in the prophetic ministry of exhortation and guidance ( Exodus 15:20; 2 Kings 22:14-20; 2 Chronicles 34:22-28; Judges 4:4-14). Of this latter group, especially prominent are Deborah, "a prophetess . . . [who] was judging [NIV, "leading"] Israel at that time" ( Judges 4:4), and Huldah, the prophetess to whom Josiah the king and Hilkiah the high priest looked for spiritual guidance ( 2 Kings 22).

For I brought thee up out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed thee the house of bondage, and I sent before you Moses, Aaron and Miriam. Micah 6:4

Miriam is the 1st woman in scripture given the title of prophetess. She is alongside her 2 brothers in ministry and has a God ordained position of great authority.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
Miriam was a prophet. The Hebrew word used here for “prophetess” is ‘nebiah.’ Nebiah is the feminine of ‘nabi’ which means: “a spokesman, speaker, prophet. Nebiah is used six (6) times in the Old Testament as prophetess.
IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO CALL A WOMAN A PREACHER...THAT IS YOUR BUSINESS...I once went to a church (with Brother Alvear and the preacher must have felt he had to call me to say something (I have never had the itch to say somethimg so no one has to feel they heve to call me to say anything) However the preacher got up and said these words, " Well I don't believe in women preachers but we want to ask Sister Alvear to come up here and prophecy." He went and sat down. I just walked up there and told a missionary story like I do about every where.
When all the time he was having an affair with the piano player...and it was not long until he destroyed himself.
If we do not understand God's call on someone it would be best to be careful what we say lest we touch God's anointed. I am not speaking about me but in general terms and that includes both men and women.

You are wasting your time on this guy, Sister.
He goes from one to another forum and copy and paste.
There are fellows doing the same thing about tithes and offerings.
It's their favourite subject.
Don't worry about him, he made up his mind and is wasting your time.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
The Concise Greek-English Dictionary of the New Testament says the word prophesy means:
proclaim God’s message, preach; prophesy, predict… An Intermediate Greek-English Lexicon abridged from Liddell and Scott’s Lexicon says prophesy means: in N.T. to expound scripture, to speak and preach under the influence of the Holy Spirit. The Enhanced Strong’s Lexicon writes this about the word prophesy:to utter forth, declare, a thing which can only be known by divine revelation. To break forth under sudden impulse in lofty discourse or praise of the divine counsels. Like prompting, to teach, refute, reprove, admonish, comfort others.
1Cor. 14:3 ...One who prophesies speaks to men for edification and exhortation and consolation.
Edification — the building up of people. Exhortation — strongly encouraging them to love, good works, and holiness. Consolation — a reassurance from God.
Prophecy can manifest by a statement of the future, but more often it is simply Scripture spoken as inspired by the Holy Spirit, directed at a person or group of people that God is desiring to reach with edification, exhortation, or consolation.
The gift of prophecy should be desired above every other gift. Remember that the gifts include the effecting of miracles, gifts of healings, and speaking in tongues. Paul says that we should especially desire prophecy above these others.
This is because the church benefits from, and is edified by, prophecy above every other gift. How could the church be more blessed than by hearing the spoken Word of God? Remember that,
Rom. 10:17 ...Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
So the church is built up in faith by the gift of prophecy along of coure with many other things.
If you're going to desire a gift, desire the gift of prophecy above all the others.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11
I do not appreciate rdp speaking about Bro, Scheels even though I do not have it with me. He defended Women in ministry to get his Qxford degree...Neither his wife or daughters are preachers so he has no familiy ties to defend women preachers. Actually he grew up in a church that does not believe in women preachers. I have known Brother Scheels all my life and I can say he is a real christian. So let's not knock people.
