Amen my brother, amen!

LOL Yes! Gotta have that dramatic effect to make her words seem more real.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

One thing that all women need to think about very seriously is this. If Jesus intended for women to lead in the church, then Jesus should have chosen a woman to be part of his chosen 12. He didn't. You can't argue with that basic fact, in my opinion. Like phxman said... you can pull things from here and there, but you can't argue with facts. And it is a fact that Jesus did not choose a woman to be a part of the 12 who would lead the church after His death.

I am a woman, and while I believe woman have a place in ministering... I do not believe there is any NT role for women to be in any kind of authority over men. God's headship does not allow for that... and teaching otherwise does great harm, in my opinion.

Re: End Time Army of Women Preachers Psalms 68:11

I would like to add.... a woman does not have a lesser role in the church, because God has allowed both men and women to be filled with the spirit, to be gifted with the gifts of the spirit, and to share the gospel wherever we go. There is plenty of room for women to minister through the gifting of the spirit... but we must understand that as women we must be in submission to the headship as God has ordained.

Look at this example, if you will. In the garden, you need to connect two hoses together, however you have a problem if you have two of the same ends. They will never connect, and they will never be able to produce something greater. A male and male hose end to end will never ever be able to join, and create a steady flow of water. No. What it takes is a male end that is able to encompass and cover the female end of the hose, and when those two come together in unity, something great happens, water is able to flow through the hose, and greater things happen because two totally different entities came together in unity, and formed something greater than themselves.

It is the same way in the church. God created male and female, two totally different entities that were designed to come together in unity... together! Not separately, but together. As in the hose - the male end covers the female end, but without the female piece, the male is useless too. It is in this way that God set up lessons from the world around us for us to glimpse His great plan... and this picture can be reproduced in many ways... think of a battery - no power without a positive and a negative coming together... think of the fact that male and female bodies can come together in unity, designed perfectly to fit together to bring about something greater than themselves, a child.

Through this I see the beauty and knowledge of God. He takes two different roles, and allows them to bond together to produce something far greater than themselves. It is the role of a husband and wife working together as a team to produce, and allow the spirit of God to work through them in the church to bring about something much greater than themselves... believers, disciples, and souls who need to be saved.

There is a great ministry for women... God ordained indeed... but it must come about in the proper fashion, and then it will be mightily blessed and anointed of God.

Your hose analogy is a great one. I definitely would not consider the role of women in the church to be a small one at all. If we are married, we minister to our husbands. If we are mothers, we minister to our children. And whether or not we are married or have children, we always have each other to minister to... and, of course, the Lord! Then there are those we meet along the way whose lives we touch, be it a word, a prayer, friendship, visiting the sick or the elderly, etc.

Amen! Glad we are in agreement!

Ministering is not limited to, or consisting solely of standing for an hour or two in front of a group of people and screaming your thoughts at them..... lol

Being a minister first and foremost is being a servant, and having a servants heart - Jesus said so. I find more happiness and contentment when I minister to my home and family first, and then as I go about my business, and those whom I meet and interact throughout the day, I do what I can for them. It doesn't matter if I never get to stand behind a pulpit.. I can share the gospel in so many other ways that are just as meaningful... and the Lord blesses.
