She's my helper (& a very smart one), so she certainly contributes to the discussion. How does this in any way, shape, or form validate women in the set-in office of the 5-fold ministry in the church?

Wow...I am amazed at the answer that ALL the women were in prision...when the Bible says men and women....3 But Saul began to destroy the church. Going from house to house, he dragged off men and women and put them in prison.

Yes M'aam, PRECISELY the point! The women are said to be "in prison," which you somehow mysteriously (?) take to mean they were "going every where" ?

Specifically where does this text state that "women were preaching the Word of God to men":__________? It doesn't, it's you once again adding to the Word of God in order to find what's not there inherently.


Besides, I've said over & over that I believe in "women-preachers" in the strict sense of outreaching or witnessing to the lost, as in Mt. 28.19 (& I highly push both men & women to do so) - but this has absolutely nothing to do with the contexts of the epistles & women assuming leadership roles in the church over men by teaching them the authoritative Word of God.


When they do that they're out of their place & in violation of the order of creation...which is serious business in Scripture.

Where does this text say men went everywhere preaching to women?

The text says THEY....The ones that were not put in prison...

Acts 8:4 "Therefore they that were scattered abroad went every where preaching the word."
