Didn't go this year. Watched the video that leaked out. That video is reportedly MIA now. My understanding that I'm getting from other forums with people that were there, the faggot and queer words were used at some point but not in reference to the POTUS. Well. You know, I used to love hearing Jeff Arnold preach. The first message I heard him preach was through a VHS video at my church school Bible class, "Miracle Looking for a Vessel." Even in the 90s when I attended BOTT I liked hearing him preach.

Now I see this and have heard some other things he's said while preaching, and I just shake my head. I think sometimes he says things to get a reaction. This clip here was nothing more than him fishing for a reaction. His arrogance in that clip is unbecoming a minister and just plain ungodly.

There wasn't any anointing in that mess. IMO, he shouldn't be asked to speak at the next BOTT.

JA was definitely addressing the ministry ("you guys") in the video. He walks right over and stands if front of Kevin Cox and TFT and is looking right at the preachers when he makes his "you're an idiot" remark. So sad.

I remember Arnold using the words "queer" and the other one back in the 80s and 90s. That's nothing new.

I haven't read or heard anything about the alleged comment about obama in the WH...that really seems far fetched. I have a very hard time believing he said it.

I liked what Sherrie posted, and it's true. It was considered cute and funny back in his early days, but by now he should have grown up and matured as a minister.

I'm not sure what context the Obama statements were made but I don't see a lot of room for that stuff in any pulpit I'm behind. I guess some of these guys get really comfortable.

Certain *old favorites* are given a lot of rope. You go to some sessions knowing you're going to be shocked...or even offended. I felt that way when my Dad attended ultra-con conferences. It was a little intimidating sitting there with my UPCI-licensed Dad while the preacher yelled about how UPCers were going to hell. LOL!!! But then later we would go to the fellowship hall and my Dad would sit down and fellowship with the same hard-nosed guys we were just listening to. Maybe I learned from him how to let things roll off.
