Amen! After 20 years of doing this very stressful endeavor, I finally had had enough of Religion.

In fact, the light came on after years and years of watching people do what they do, all while they are "Walking in the Truth". I saw in myself a great fallacy, preaching against certain things that only end up being the same thing, in another way.

Human Beings can't stand not "Knowing", so they seek for someone who will go into the beyond, even if the idea is fake.

All people have sin that they are struggling with, even after salvation (but salvation delivers and strengthens one for the fight). What if, because the Bible teaches against gluttony, a religion made people get on a scale and if their BMI was so far up, they would tell them they were going to hell? And told others they were backslid? Then, when people said "You shouldn't say when people are saved or not" this person could say "It's Bible brother!! Do you want to not teach what the Bible teaches????" Completely missing the point, that salvation does not belong to someone else to measure. And that salvation is by grace. People focus on something so much, they convince themselves that God does too, just because it's in the Bible.

You are a cloud without water, carried about the winds

A tree whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots.

A raging wave of the sea, foaming out your own shame.

A wandering star, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.

enjoy the darkness.

If it wasn't Standards, it was "Sheep Stealing", or compromised preaching. I was so sick of hearing this nonsense, I finally stopped answering the phone so I didn't have to listen to this Religious rhetoric that is so prevalent in Christianity.

Regardless of what people believe, this strife runs deep in the realm of Religion for one, simple reason; Facts based upon Myth.
I've read far more of your posts than I have responded to and the pattern is always the same.

You claim to be an expert on religion, particularly, the UPCI, and you paint everything and everyone with ONE BIG BRUSH!

I have been in the UPCI for 35+ years, I have been a licensed minister in the UPCI for over 15 years.

You are not the only one on this forum or in this world thats "been around and experienced some stuff". But you sure do post like you are all alone in this matter and thus you "know it all" and you have "seen the light" and have been "delivered".

In case you missed it, I have considered all of "my" experiences in the UPCI and I have chosen to REMAIN associated with the UPCI. The reason for this is because my RELATIONSHIP is not with an organization or a church or a set of rules. My RELATIONSHIP is with Jesus Christ.

That being said, being in a RELATIONSHIP with Jesus Christ doesn't mean I'm going to sit back and ignore lies and pure hate being spewed out about my organization or church of choice.

You should really try for a RELATIONSHIP and give up the oldest game in history...the BLAME GAME! Blaming an organization, blaming other people for your issues. The blame game has been going on since Adam and Eve. And even though they played the game well, it didn't keep them from being kicked out of the garden!

The first bold statement: If your Relationship is what counts, you should be able to walk away from Organized Religion to discover what you're missing. If you decide to do this, you will see how much these people love you.

The second bold statement: Give up on the oldest "Game" in history? Let me ask you one simple question: Have you EVER really talked to Jesus?

Oh, and you were there when Adam and Eve were "KICKED" out of the Garden.

Should be able to? Sure she is. She just told you she doesn't want to.

Her relationship is with Jesus. She is happy.

Really? My experience water seeks its own level, meaning they were calling you because you were singing their song.

ok, to be fair, this is a forum, wherein things like this are held up, so that light may shine on them? While i am personally horrible at not phrasing some of my replies in the best way, i always mean for them to be rebutted; i know there is another side to the coin.

Iow, if i tell you "what i'm hearing in your post is _________________." (perceived as a negative) i usually omit--my bad--the "...and I'm sure you don't mean that, so could you rephrase?" part. (to me it's like saying "imo" after every post; everything i post is my opinion. "Believe nothing, no matter where you read it or who has said it, not even if i have said it, unless it agrees with your own reason and your own common sense" adapted.

Yeah, that's true. I was in the "Party" at one time, telling everyone that unless you believe like me and my Religion, your lost and going to Hell.

Don't do that anymore.
