Re: Mark of the beast idea

This "certain city" will be uninhabitable through the Millennium for the duration, its smoke will continuously rise for 1000 years. It will be a memorial for the nations to see of the slaughtered millions of souls throughout the time of before Christ to the end of the dark ages. These resurrected saints will see a reminder of the Lords' vengeance of their prayers...Revelation 6:10

And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

This burning city during the millennial will stand as a MEMORIAL to the martyred saints in history.

Jerusalem

Area: 48.3 sq miles (125.1 km²)
Weather: 60°F (16°C), Wind W at 3 mph (5 km/h), 86% Humidity
Local time: Thursday 8:40 PM
Population: 780,517 (2010

Same city?, this happened in 70ad?...Na, I don't think so....

Rev 18:21 And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all.

22 And the voice of harpers, and musicians, and of pipers, and trumpeters, shall be heard no more at all in thee; and no craftsman, of whatsoever craft he be, ]shall be found any more in thee; and the sound of a millstone shall be heard no more at all in thee;

23 And the light of a candle shall shine no more at all in thee; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride shall be heard no more at all in thee: for thy merchants were the great men of the earth; for by thy sorceries were all nations deceived.

This city in Rev. will be uninhabitable from this point of judgement, to the end of the world.

I guess you must just believe that Jerusalem of old is responsible for the slaughter of every saint after 70 ad if ALL means ALL....

No one said anything about AFTER. the fact remains that if one entity is accused of ALL blood guilt at ANY GIVEN TIME, no other entity can ever ever be said to be guilty of ALL before or after. It's simple logic. At any given, time as soon as someone is guilty of ALL of something, no one later can be guilty of ALL of the same thing. Only part.

Mike, you guys are saying all means all. There are posts on the internet that say preterism is antisemitic. I now see how they get that. You guys are inferring that ALL of the martyred saints are on the hands of the Jews of old that crucified Jesus...Hitler used that.

This has gone interesting now. Since you guys reject Rev. 18 as being another entity. The Jews are utterly destroyed for the multitude of martyrs of Rev 6 and 7.

No, we are not saying FOR ALL TIME. Sean! This is how you start lying, lol. That's crazy! lol We are saying UP TO AD70 only. Okay. Get it?

And since UP TO AD70 Jerusalem was guilty of ALL, THEN NO ONE LATER CAN BE GUILTY OF ALL. If Jerusalem never killed anyone AFTER AD70, it still stands that no one after could be said to be guilty of ALL.
