I don't care if the choke hold didn't kill him. The choke hold was the trigger which set his death into motion.

BTW can someone tell me why the other officers who were on the man's back and pressing down were not also charged? How come nobody wants to lynch them or the black female supervisor who supervised it all?

But a source close to the Medical Examiner’s investigation said coroners are also investigating whether the chokehold still contributed to Garner’s death by aggravating his pre-existing conditions of obesity, asthma and possible heart disease. He died of cardiac arrest in the ambulance on the way to the hospital."

These cops have no reason to know about preexisting conditions when they try to subdue someone by whatever means. A tazer could have killed him and everyone would be second guessing using those

I never ignored the chokehold or other factors contributed OR that they were primary. You are dishonestly playing with my words
