Isn't There A Scripture That Implies...
Isn't there a scripture that implies that Christ won't return until all people on the earth hear the Gospel?
The answer is yes, but I have forgotten where to find the scripture. I want to read the scripturer again and get the context to make sure I am not taking the scripture out of context.
Thanks for your help.

I know of NO scriptural passage wherein it is explicitly states that the Lord WON'T return UNTIL "ALL people" on the earth hears the gospel, ONLY that the gospel MUST be delivered to EVERY nation. From personal experience I KNOW that there are some who will NOT hear the gospel, and an atheist is one such person.
I also base my opinion on the scriptural passages noted by shazeep.

Ok, so if the Bible says all nations, let's go with an exact interpretatation and say that the Gospel must be preached in all nations before the return of the Lord.
Does that mean all nations as in France, Lesotho, Brunei, South Sudan-- what about the people that are not part of a nation but are in a nation (like the untouched tribes in the Amazon)?

And how does that work-- how could the Lord return before someone has a chance to hear the Gospel?

ok, as terms are easily mixed here, note the difference in "nations," which is ethnic populations, v "countries," which have borders, etc.

and as for those "untouched" tribes, i just finished watching a documentary that suggested that they have all had a missionary experience at this point; whether they chose to eat the missionary or not is another point, tho--but they had a chance, iow. i think that condition is generally regarded as being fulfilled now.

Are you not "assuming" that the ancestors of the "untouched tribes in the Amazon" were never once a part of the civilized world? God did NOT create and place those peoples there! They originated elsewhere, travelled to and settled in the Amazons. As such they are direct descendants of the sons of Noah, who would later attempt to construct the tower at Babel, & God caused them to be scattered throughout the whole earth.
Oh! I know..... But even if this were the case they would have never heard the gospel. And that's quite true. However, their ancestors heard of and knew God, but chose NOT to continue in His ways, and as it is with all things, and when knowledge is not passed from one generation to the next it will eventually be lost altogether! I fear that such is the case with the so-called "untouched tribes of the Amazon."
My thoughts at least.

Here it is bro....Matt 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
This guy(an angel) will make sure the job is done right, just before the 2nd coming in chapter 19......Rev 14:6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.
Jesus did not say it was the disciples job to preach it in the verse. He just said it would happen. He uses an angel to preach it to every family member on earth during the tribulation.
