I don't know what you mean about the unknown god of the ninevites, but this view that I hold is one of faith, that brings great peace. My faith is in the work on Calvary, which cannot be disputed - even our calendars are based on this event. My faith is in a divine intelligent being that I know as Jesus who formed this world into existence. My faith is in His character, and while I may not understand all of who HE is, or all of what HE has done, my faith remains in Him alone, and there is great peace in that faith.

the Unknown God is God, who saved the unbelieving, but repentant Ninevites, who did not know God, but allowed for the concept; to Jonah's dismay also, one must note. I have to confess that i have many more grenades for anyone who might think to dispute your model, lol; but i see that that is mostly because it is the one i grew up with too. The universal truths are just that, however; universal, and as adequately expressed in other dogmas, regardless of whether we accept them or not. God judges one's heart.
