You haven't moved on. You really need to.

You've been out longer than I have...

I may drive down to visit family soon. I'll
probably visit the UPC while I'm there.
Not because I miss "it." I have a few friends
there. I miss them. But, I have no nostalgia
for anything UPC or Apostolic.

You attend/ed AG because it is safe for you.
It's Pentecostal-ish sans legalism.
You are/were too afraid to go too far.

Stop holding on to the past and launch
into the deep. You are trying to control
"this." You need to trust God.
A/G is also absent of oneness truth and acts 2:38 salvation. Many apostolics are not legalistic. Its not nostalgia but truth.

Re: Moving To Cleveland!

UPDATE:

Moving here has proven to be not what I expected.

However, I have a couple close friends. I joined a church but stopped attending that church. I didn't like his style of preaching.

Sin does not have a stronghold in my life! In fact, the Lord used an Apostolic minister of music that I met at a church I now frequent to pray for me and now, I am stronger than I have ever been! The Work that God has performed and is performing in my life is AMAZING to me!

I am so glad I didn't give up my hope for deliverance! Even more important, I am so glad the Lord didn't give up on me!! I am so glad His people were so loving and patient with me!

The Lord has been so MERCIFUL to me! I am forever grateful for His Love and Grace!

I am shocked! Who would have thought you would have moved to a new place and started attending a new church and it not work out??? Again I say shocked! I mean its not like you have a track record of this........wait.....never mind.

On a serious note I hope you someday find a place and church to plug into with all of your heart mind soul and strength. You might want to consider that all of these places and churches can't be wrong. At some point there must be something going on with you that you can't get settled and until you address that I fear you will never find what you are looking for.

"We did not wear uniforms. The lady workers dressed in the current fashions of the day, ...silks...satins...jewels or whatever they happened to possess. They were very smartly turned out, so that they made an impressive appearance on the streets where a large part of our work was conducted in the early years.

"It was not until long after, when former Holiness preachers had become part of us, that strict plainness of dress began to be taught.

"Although Entire Sanctification was preached at the beginning of the Movement, it was from a Wesleyan viewpoint, and had in it very little of the later Holiness Movement characteristics. Nothing was ever said about apparel, for everyone was so taken up with the Lord that mode of dress seemingly never occurred to any of us."

CC1,
I came here for work. I took a promotion to come here. I didn't move here in order to find a new church. I was fine as far as church goes at my A/G church in Orlando.

I did research churches before moving here...

Thanks for your concern, but I don't think you are on point with the post above. I appreciate your concern.

Re: Moving To Cleveland!

i live in Ft Myers, and would suggest somewhere at or above Sarasota. For whatever reason the weather is much more oppressive south of there; we are usually 10 degrees hotter, and more humid too. Don't miss the amazing park while you're in Cleveland; goes around the whole city, i guess?

Hey there Shazeep! Have you ever visited Bro. Williams church?
I've not had the privilege to, but, I do follow the Pastor's Instagram and
also have a friend that attends there that keeps great things posted of
what's going on in their church.
