Re: September 24th, 2015 - End of the World (Again

Great reading folks!!!....

According to Larry Smith's false doctrines, there is not a single place in the Gospels where Jesus promised to come again except in the 70AD coming in judgment. The above text are all the "coming" text in the Gospels. If all these point to a 70AD "coming" then Jesus did not predict another coming. This false doctrine is the root and basis of the Partial-Preterist heresy....

This shows us how LARRY SMITH INVALIDATES THE 2ND COMING PASSAGES TO THE LAST DAYS CHURCH.(YOU AND I)

Larry Smith claims on page 13 of his book: "Jesus said THEY would see Him when He came in the clouds sitting in a place of power." Josephus, whom Smith loves to quote, makes no mention of anyone seeing Jesus coming in 70AD. If every eye was to see him as Smith claims, then how did Josephus and many thousands more miss it? Smith has no answer! ....

yikes
i am constantly struck by how vehement Pents are in their beliefs, yet how casually they seem to tolerate oppression. Being a Preterist or a Posterist is irrelevant to God, imo

Repeating the bible's position on salvation by works is oppression now, eh? What else is whacko?

our "beliefs" mostly end up being the stumbling block, by which we exclude others

well, it is those who do the Father's will who are blessed, so perhaps a different perspective is possible. If the next stranger that comes up to you is wearing a turban, and that elicits paranoia rather than metanoia in you--which calling that stranger an animal tells me will most likely happen--then everything else becomes irrelevant, imo.

You are the only unrighteously judging person here, with your accusations of what I would or would not do when I met a Moslem. And NO, it's not an example from you of what I have been doing. I never once stopped and simply said to any Moslem they were lost. I explained simply said what the word stated when they raised the issue of the Bible. I never once flatly said they're simply lost when I spoke to them.

Your implications are lies.

well, but that is not an answer, with all due respect--it is just another prevarication. Seems to me that the devil has a pretty free reign in many Christians' lives, gasp. It is what it is.

well, hence the "if." And i think it's pretty plain that anyone who says all ________ are lost--whether said in the presence of Muslims or peers, or only in one's heart of hearts is irrelevant, of course--or they are all "animals," is pretty obviously going to have a more paranoid reaction to them, so I'll stand by what i said. A racist would naturally have to suggest some lie there, in what anyone else would admit is probability; i make no conclusions. If the shoe fits, wear it. I mean, really, it describes all of us on some level. The point being that generally speaking, these things apply; please don't take them personally.

isn't the alternative essentially declaring "i have no sin?"

Easy folks.....

All I did was expose a preterist that is terribly ashamed of his doctrine and this is the thanks I get?

I am trying to get these heretical preterists to heaven and this is the thanks I get?

Well, I expected this....LOL
