Not at all, I do the best I can do according to His LITERAL words. If I fall short, I pray for mercy.
The preterist however, just manipulates His words into hyperboles, saying they need not obey His words as He spoke them....LOL

That is a total laugh! You pray for mercy that you don't even extend to others? You are mixed up. Luke 6:36 tells us that we should have the mercy as God extended mercy to us. Mercy we didn't deserve. But you believe in some future time God is going to can all that, and FORCE people to be righteous? First one on the list should be you. 
James 2:13 says, no mercy will be shown to those who show no mercy to others. Mercy has the victory over the judgement. You do the best you can do according to His literal words? No, Sean, you do what ever you want according to what you see as God. Plain and simple Mr called to straighten out the church. Wake up Sean, your alarm is ringing.

Then Jesus says...."well, I know that was a bit over the top guys. I was speaking in what is known as hyperboles. I was just exaggerating about what I said. By all means, dont cut yourself like I just said. I was being a bit extreme. I apologize for frightening you"......

Funny Sean should choose this passage, awhile back Sean said something to the effect that he struggles when he sees a women showing too much cleavage. Well Sean Jesus said to pluck your eyes out, have you and if not why not?

I dont remember saying that.
I am actually embarrassed for women I see like that.
That is why I dont go to places that cause such a problem.
If I was hooked on looking at other women, my wife would pluck my eyes out(and save me the trouble)....LOL
