My friend at school said that the church is INCLUDED with future Israel when it is saved and the messiah returns and reveals Himself to them.... Look what he showed me...

Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.



Now look at verse 15 of chapter 10 teacher.....Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

R.T. man, the word ALSO includes us with Israel in chapter 8, and does NOT eliminate Israel at all, right?

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

RT MAN...notice Israel is not quoted at all in this portion of the verse, as it is in chapter 8.....
Therefore verse 15 is telling us that WE and ALL FUTURE ISRAEL(2 groups) are included in the same miraculous covenant, right?(We are saved now under their FUTURE covenant, but all Israel will be saved as we are, when Jesus returns under the same covenant in chapter 8)

Thanks class for helping me get rid of Israel in this passage. There is strength in numbers, so the more of us that do this, the less conviction we feel that we are doing something sinful, right?
