1kings18:38Then the fire of the Lord fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench. And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The Lord, he is the God; the Lord, he is the God.

sorry. you are just trying justify your opening statement. it fails. sound doctrine stands on its own .
Those fires fell for Elijah as the judgment of God on followers of false gods. period.
When Jonathan Edwards stood up and read his sermon "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God" the communities around were shaken to their foundations. It was in many ways the foundation of The Great Awakening.
Edwards was Calvinist, Trinitarian, Congregationalist. For you to suggest that validation comes in the form of some kind of wind of God is nonsense and will never ever be the validation of Gods approval. Such teaching is bound to send people to a devils hell!
I will not even look around for some nonsense of people shouting over things I either don't believe or don't care enough about to even consider. But I am not about to suggest that what I DO believe is validated because someone can produce a YouTube video of folk shouting at some sermon where someone said something I do agree with.
People got sideways with emotional response during the Brownwood revival. It was a bunch of charismatics talking about god fill their teeth with gold. by your approach, that's validated theology!
That's crazy. That's not Godly and nowhere in the bible will you find what you are suggesting here. not one single time. and you are misusing scripture trying to suggest Elijah's sermon was validated by the fires of God. That aint what happened. God SENT him to deal with the false prophets. There destruction was ordained before Elijah ever showed up on the scene.
