Re: Putin purges Baltic commanders

Do you actually know any Russians?

You might be surprised at what populations think.

Anyways, when "they" decide to have a war, it happens. Almost like clockwork, actually...

um, no, i know no Russians to speak of--i did befriend a Russian couple while climbing Mt Sinai--the tourist one, in the Sinai, not the real one in SA--and they gave me several clues as to the general will of the Russians; there has been a large religious resurgence in Russia, if not a revival, and putting that with the temperature at which i was received by other Russians in the area--admittedly on vacation, which changes peoples' demeanors, softens their perspectives or whatever--i gotta say they did not seem to be inclined in that direction, were skeptical of their government actually repping them, etc, as many Americans now are, but that was like 5 years ago. But even Putin makes reconciliation noises publically?

Anyway, i am not meaning to say that wars will not happen in the future, perhaps even ww3, but my intent is to point out that we maybe are defining this war a certain way in our collective thinking--i'm sure we all have a similar perspective for "ww3"--when pretty much the whole world is at war right now, at least in a sense, and i wonder if the one is not providing some cover for the other, if you get me.

Re: Putin purges Baltic commanders

it is difficult to grasp in this country of plenty, but rulers make mistakes that create sea-changes in the will of the people, and while they have no doubt learned from those mistakes, "let them eat cake," etc, the ptb are scared to death of you, united, and are never quite sure what outcome an even seemingly innocuous action might have. Starvation would be a likely more effective goad to war imo but again, i am just not seeing the value for satan in a world war, if virtually everyone is dying now in a sense, the living dead, fat, sick and nearly dead, etc. Possibly as a more efficacious pop reduction maneuver?

Re: Putin purges Baltic commanders

I have no doubt about a future world war. I believe its coming.

I also doubt the American people have the stomach for the fight which means we lose.

I do not however believe that means Obama would or could suspend elections or election results and set himself up as dictator.

That day is also likely coming but it will be like we have seen in places like Venezuela. It will be voted on by the masses.

That is the end goal of Progressivism. to create mob democracy then control the mob.

Where Russia is concerned? Putin doesn't need to preserve his power by purging his military. He has the power already. period. it might be prelude to some kind of attacks. I don't know. but its not to preserve what he already has.

as a matter of fact... yes....

one Russians perspective that I know quite well:

Putin is a psychopath and he wants to bring back the Russian Empire. That includes all of Eastern Europe.
