Since you're questioning my post, how well did you know him? Or are you simply posting what you've read and heard?

Probably no more than you knew him. However, I had enough respect for the man and his ministry that I would never have brought up his situation on a forum that was obviously putting down people who used medication to treat depression and/or anxiety. Also, what I have written is fact and not hearsay.
I don't mean to put you down, but just giving you something to think about. This type of thing is what make people fearful to reach out to others when they are suffering from this terrible disease. Yes, I said disease. Sometimes our brain is "sick" and needs medical help!
I appreciate your testimony about God touching you and the peace that overcame you and calmed your anxiety when you quoted those scripture verses. However, as I stated above, there are people who suffer so much that they cannot even claim and believe the scriptures are for them. Due to some of the preaching they have heard, they don't even believe that God loves them. I have sat with people, pleaded the blood over them, fasted for them, all the while, them calling on the name of Jesus. And then have seen them to the point that medication was what calmed them to the point of even being able to function.
I will not be responding further on this thread.
