And the answer is of course a, "No." And, that is correct.
God is sovereign. He can do things that we are not permitted to do. He can make decisions we are not authorized to make. He can choose to do things in accordance to His divine will and secret eternal counsel... that defy what we think He should be doing.
God is God.
And by commending the souls of those who only had a traditional or rudimentary faith in Christ to God... we allow God to judge as He so pleases, trusting that the judge of all the earth will always do right regardless of what He chooses to do.

Chris, you believe God randomly kills people for absolutely no reason?
Please, keep telling us what you really believe.

Re: Billy Graham
Tell me EB... if a police officer grants a warning to a speeder... or if a judge throws out the tickets issued to a speeder...
Does that mean that the speed limit has changed?
Does that mean that the speed limit has no relevance any longer?
Does that mean that anyone who speeds can be assured of a warning or of having tickets dismissed?
Does that mean that there are now two speed limits?
Yes or no?

I already explained this with a man racing his wife to the hospital because she is in labor. The officer pulls them over, the guy is doing 150 mph in a 55. The officer tells them to follow his police car to the hospital with sirens blasting. At the hospital the officer writes a citation, and impounds the car. Is he wrong? No, there is a law, the gentleman was not only endangering his unborn child, but his wife, himself, and everyone around him. But in court the judge may see otherwise.God is not man, that He should lie, or a son of man, that He should change his mind. Has He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not fulfill it? Sorry, God isn't writing out speeding tickets, when your number is up, and you stand before Him, He is a righteous judge. You need to make your case now, not later, because later will be too late.

Re: Billy Graham
In Chris' world God can change His mind and give certain people a backstage pass to heaven. It's like when people win concert tickets on the radio contest...

I'm not here to say what God will do or will not do.
I am saying that regarding those of traditional or a rudimentary faith in Christ, it's best to commend their souls to God, and allow Him to judge as he sees fit. Because...He's going to do so whether you, me, or anyone else likes it or not. He's the judge of the the whole earth.
If one wishes to know how be saved, we preach the fullness of Acts 2:38. There is no assurance outside of this message.
