I had the book. It’s not great advice for today. Maybe a few decades ago.

But my Pastor teaches the truth he's not a hireling. This guy gets paid to teach false doctrine, so therefore that's his career. A huge difference altogether.

Oh well I have enough reasons that it wasn't specifically about money. Although EB did a good job with that one. I doubt he does it all the way for the money, hes not Creflo Dollar or Jessie Duplantis I do believe that about them. Not Rick Warren and John Piper as much. Though like EB said they definitely are fat with coin. That can't be denied!

In my ESV, I just finished Isaiah and will be beginning Jeremiah today. In my NLT, I finished 1 and 2 Samuel and have begun reading 1 Kings. Once I finish that and 2 Kings, I will have read the entire OT in the NLT, and will dive in on the NT. The project moves along nicely!
