I heard that Thad married a Hawaiian girl he met while conducting a choir clinic in Honolulu and had givne up the ministry to run a surf shop!

I thought the story was that Thad ate a Hawaiian in a rehab in Honolulu. He had no ministry to give up so he started a smoke shop in Key West.
