The reason it’s still an issue is because there generally are deeper issues that such a simple standard can reveal.

Are the principles Bible supported? Do you remind the people that Jesus Christ had a beard?
Do you remind them the man on the judgement seat either has or at least did have a beard himself? That they will be judged by a bearded man?

That meant just what it said. However what you said that I said was taken way out of context and actually put words in my mouth that I never said. I can deal with someone disagreeing with me but don’t care to dialogue with people that don’t know how to be reasonable and make things up to fit their agenda like you did.
Have you not read the thread? I already put some points of why I teach against them. Why would I need to “ remind “ them what Jesus will have or won’t have on judgement day when I’m teaching on this subject. Don’t see any relation to teaching the subject.

Mike doesn't care to read the thread, Mike is just reposting old posts from the dozen other "To Beard or Not to Beard" threads he has made in the past. You ever want to see this guy bang out posts just create a beard thread, it is like ringing a bell in front of Pavlov's dog. I thoroughly happen to enjoy them immensely.

You have a video on YouTubes saying that Jesus is the Holy Ghost?
We are infilled by a bearded man?

Re: To Beard or Not to Beard, That is The Question
Let’s keep sanity in our logic.
There are principles of holiness wherever you are to keep.
And there is also a thing called being dress appropriately to the occasion.
Wedding, church, work, etc...
The former is in the Bible. The latter depends on the culture and organization policies. Let’s not equal things that belong to the former group to the things that belong to the latter group. I think we all know what belongs to what, don’t we?
I would rather see you coming to church in working cloth that miss it because you can’t come clean shaved and in a suit. Don’t we see the balance?

If it means what it says I understood it right the first time. So yea if one questions your stand on beards they are being unreasonable? I made something up to fit an agenda? Thats the way almost any shave only proponet would react.

Well yes I have read the thread. Obviously I am disagreeing with your points. You have stated more than once if one has a problem shaving they have more problems than that. I would say maybe they want to grow a beard because Jesus did? Maybe because it naturally grows on a mans face.
So the fact that Jesus Christ will be the one judging people on the judgement day, and knowing He had or perhaps STILL has a beard has no bearing on THIS SUBJECT?
What if he is angry because Preachers taught his children it was somehow less holy or less presentable for them to have what HE had? That our Church standard is higher than Jesus standard?
I would want to put in my Bible study that since Jesus had one himself and the Holy Spirit never inspired anyone to preach against them if they wanted one more power to them.

Jesus judging us wearing a beard, and Satan flying in a spacecraft landing in Washington and saying "take me to your leader"
Now, guys who have clean shaven churches don't have as much Holy Ghost as you.
You are a funny guy.
