Apparently, Wuhan Flu is about 70% SARS. Which itself is most likely a bioweapon (also targeted at Oriental persons).

The enemy's main objective is not "to paralyze with fear". That's just a means to an end. The enemy's objective is to steal, kill, and destroy. Some are paralysed with fear and indecision and do nothing and get hit by the truck bearing down on them. Others have been taught to bury their head in the sand or put on Ju Junta 2000 Peril Sensitive Sunglasses so they can't see the truck bearing down on them with the same end result.

The way some folks talk keeping a fire extinguisher in the house, learning CPR, or locking your door at night are symptoms of being "paralysed with fear". But in actuality, implying that people who pay attention to things and who might be taking precautions are in reality "paralysed by fear" and possibly outside the will of God is really no different than what the ten spies did in discouraging Israel from taking action, just in a sort of reverse manner. Thankfully, such people weren't around to successfully discourage Noah as he was hammering nails.

I agree, burying your head in the sand is not a good idea. But there is an overwhelming sense of fear that is not healthy either. Either scenario is not good.

Simply put, it's wise to be aware, it's wise to not fall into the fear trap, and it's wise to trust in the Lord above all.

You mentioned Noah. Noah was on a mission given to him from the Lord. How would we even know nowadays if we had a Noah in our midst? Those people in that day thought he was crazy. What would the scenario of Noah look like to us today?

This morning I was listening to the local news station and heard an interview they did with an American surgeon who is currently stuck in quarantine with her husband on the cruise ship docked in Japan. Allegedly there are approx 3700 on this ship and nearly 200 have been diagnosed with the disease.

This lady was completely calm and even joked a few times about their situation. She stated that they've been locked in their cabin and aren't allowed to go anywhere, though they can access their small balcony. She said that they have been told quarantine is supposed to last until at least Feb 19th and laughed when one of the radio hosts told her "Happy Valentine's Day."
