Re: What's your view on Hell?
I see what you think. The fire is not quenched and their worm dies not but they do. That means Jesus was saying eternal hell is for their worms, not the lost persons. I could never try to explain that to someone.
Also, Jesus was indeed speaking of self amputation. These folks were attempting to save themselves by the Law that condemned them so Jesus simply defined the Laws requirements to them since they failed to keep it.

So, Jesus was speaking metaphorically? As far as how one's condition would be in the afterlife? the law stated that a women who tried to help her husband in a fight against another man, by grabbing the man's privates. May have her hand cut off, yet no one believed she would be actually handless in the after life?

If Jesus specifically says something it is our best interest to agree with him. Disagreement with his “worm dieth not” and “unquenchable fire” statement is above my pay grade. I will leave that to the experts.

People aren't "disagreeing with Jesus" about the worm not dying. We are disagreeing with your interpretation of what that means.
But you already know that. Have you ever posted using the username "Sean"? Will you ever answer that question? What are you trying to hide? And why in the world would you be so wrapped up in a virtual reality that you must avoid that question like the plague?

It's a little like Dr. Fauci saying people disagree with him because he represents "Science".

Re: What's your view on Hell?
I am Rene, not “Sean”. That’s that.
I interpret nothing that Jesus said. Others do. I just believe exactly what he said per the passage. Everyone else is saying the passage means else than Jesus said, including all the persons Jesus specifically named. Not a good idea. I am speaking about some Pentecostalbyterians.

See how this person studiously avoids answering a simple straightforward question? It's either because they DID previously post here as "Sean" and are trying to run some kind of midwit scam on the forum... OR they actually never did but pretend to avoid the question for giggles.
In either case, whichever way it may be, the result is the same: a thread-wrecking non-serious interruption.
Such a simple question.

Re: What's your view on Hell?
10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Will these 3 entities be tormented eternally or will it cease?

Not tormented, but destroyed just as death and hell are to cease to exist.
Revelation 20:14
King James Version
14 And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.
