What song is on your mind?

hey thanks for this thread it realy was a bllessing to me . ive saved a lot of the songs to see if I can find the tunes and sing in church . we sing mostly in spanish , I like singing both i especialy like the bilingual hyms i will sing verses from both and the chorus from one or the other. god has given two small chorus songs . i would like to see more threads like this . and i especialy like to read about some of the brethren who are old timers . brings back memories of my nana and my momma . my nana was a prayer warrior and thats what i am also for the Glory of God, my nana had her hair past her knees all grey which she wore in a bun , but that nana had a love for everyone and thats how i want to be. Fifty years ago this coming summer, I met my husband at a revival in Texas which
lasted if I remember correctly around 12 weeks. It was reported that over 100 received
the Holy Ghost. I don't know how many continued on with the Lord but the young man
I met and married the next year was worth much to me. We will celebrate our 50th
Anniv. next July 11. He turned 70 last week and we honored him with a great SURPRISE
birthday party with around 60 guests present.

The song "Let Me Walk With You, Jesus", was sung many, many times during that
revival and became a favorite of many. Myself included. It has spoken to my heart
many times these 50 yrs. walking with JESUS! The journey has grown sweeter as the
years have flown by. Our children think of me when they hear it as I have sung it
through the years.
