Bro. RevRandy,
I know you are probably saying a lot of this TIC, but when I hear
someone talk about having a little time with out family, etc., I
automatically think, "What a great opportunity to spend extra time
alone with Jesus! To draw just a little closer to Him. To get to KNOW
Him a little better. If we want to get to know someone better, we
must spend time, quality time with them.
Brother, I am not preaching to you. Just mothering a bit, I guess.
After mothering and nurturing six children to adulthood, I would like
to help someone else through the things I have learned through
experience. I can tell you, everyone needs to know Jesus because
every one of us are going to come to a point when we need Him and
we do not need anything between Him and us. No interference!! If
we get to KNOW HIM intimately, or personally, He will be there when
we call. I've never heard anyone say they had spent too much time
with JESUS! Just a suggestion for filling some of the time you're alone!
May He keep His Protective Hand on you and also your family while
they are absent, in Jesus Name!!!
Blessings,
