I saw a show about festivals of the world and this particular one was focusing on an Island town in the amazon called Boi Bumba. other than the fact that they are big partiers, and love to dance, I noticed that they like to take their native cultures and mix them with religion. Guess that is what catholocism is best at. They spent a fortune on this party and yet they are so poor. It was surreal to me.
