I don´t think it is a punishment that we should be so concerned about but a wrong choice that has lead thousands to unhappiness.
I have sat and talked with hundreds of young couples as a missionary and their root problem was trust...
If a girl is with this one and then that one before marriage the husband will have a trust problem of some type.
I think we must strive for HOLINESS and PURITY in our hearts because when these things are gone we have little to build on. By holiness I am not talking about dress standards but a inward beauty that far outshines and stained tinted glows of this world.
