Luke 6: 26-28,

"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for

so did their fathers to the false prophets".

"But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies,

do good to them which hate you, do good to them

which hate you,

"Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which

despitefully use you".

...and on and on! Jesus WORDS:

Dear Sister,

Thank you for posting the passages of Scripture.

If I were the one under attack, I would hsave kept silent.

Jesus never defended Himself, but He did defend others.

This was a matter of principle with me.

Bro. Coonskinner,

I understand as I am a person who believes in principle

for sure. But One greater than you or I said:

Blessed are you when men shall revile you and persecute

you and say all manner of evil against you FALSELY for my

sake......".

Blessings,

Falla39

Sister,

If I were the one under attack, I would do exactly that.

But a dear friend is instead of me, and wrongly.

The prescription is a little different in that case.

I think that removing ones freedom to doubt is somewhat limiting the scope to convince...

I don't think the offense warrants all of this...talk...

to me it can breed superstition and fear...

If we want to elevate men we can...but who gets the glory...

I have experienced and have seen the gifts of the Spirit used mightily in operation and was blessed and have seen them misused mightily too...

It makes NO difference to me what one person (or persons) thinks one way or the other...if it's real and from God their ministry will stand... if it's not than it will fail...

I've seen Men stand...and I've seen Men fail... but in all God will recieve the Glory...
Having never met Steadfast personally...
I will say that Steadfast has been NOTHING but a Gentleman and a Man who Follows God and gives Him the Glory here on AFF and I suspect it is that way all of the time for those who know him personally...

I seriously doubt one persons doubt will effect one way or the other... God calls men to do his Work and not men....

this is just my opinion for what it's worth...

I have no desire to remove anyone's freedom to doubt.

But freedom to label these men as fakes is another matter.
