Before you start throughing out the liar line you must first examine all the liberal UPC preachers with TV in their home. Start with your idol AM. From reading the post for the past couple of hours I now have about as much respect for some of you as I do him and that's zero. Now, or the sake of my attitude I humbly bow out of all conversation reguarding this issue. I will refrain from posting on here anymore. I'll simply return to the CAF where there are men of like faith. Good day to all the posters on AFF. This may now return to the liberal left wing forum that you always wanted.

Ultra Com...your posts bother me...not because I have any desire to change anything your pastor teaches. Mine probably teaches the same.
AM is not my idol but neither are some name brand UCīs...Jesus is my hero. I long to be like Him and make Him known. We learn our greatest lessons from the God that robed himself in flesh and became a man...a real man...Christ never verbally abused those who verbally abused him. When he suffered, he didn't make any threats but left everything to the one who judges fairly. ( 1 Pet.2:23)
Would it not be more God-like to live what the Bible teaches? No matter how liberal you claim yourself to be or how ulta con you claim to be there are pastors and church workers that you have showed little or no respect to.
I am not UPC but if I were and felt I could not carry that flag I would quitely bow out. Why kill those that have given bread to you? I have never been UPC or ACI or AMF or ALJC, etc. The God I serve is bigger than any of them groups but I respect them. I may not like some of the things some stand for but they do love the same Jesus I love and we are all baptized in His name.
You donīt like the way the youth congress went...that is ok...you were not the only one BUT some did and some were blessed. Rejoice in that fact.
I thought the rain machine I rented for our kids for them to do a song and theme in their congress was funny...but while that thing was spitting out little tiny shreads of silver paper that was supposed to be rain these kids were weeping all over our church and recieving the Holy Ghost. Something about that related to them. It did not relate to me an old woman...My weeping and speaking in tongues had nothing to do with the rain machine but did have to do with a bunch of kids I love worshipping hours in the presence of the Lord.
A lot of things we donīt do for us we do for others. The Bible says, He that winneth souls is wise. Sometimes we do odd stuff to win a soul.
I donīt always like te songs the church musicians play but it is NOT to me it is to God. He seems to like those songs a lot and blesses while they sing them.
I have watched and noticed over the years in many places if the pastor doesnīt like golf then it is a sin...if he doesnīt like 6 flags then it is a sin...if he doesnīt like some said thing then it is a sin...Whatever that makes us feel more spiritual than the church across town is what we measure of depth of spirituality by...
See I lived when it was a sin among the ultra cons to wear red...and toeless shoes and hose without a seam and all kinds of things, babies were born at home an asprin was as bad as smoking and on and on...I have been in services when they preached wearing glasses was doubting God and watched people break their glasses...then those that kept their glasses were surely lacking faith...
I am not making fun of things that are preached but I see you havenīt been around long and you are in for a shock or two along the way.
YOU HAVE got to get an experience in your heart that becomes a 24/7 way of life.
