I just got back on... I have no axe to grind at all... In fact I have been on committees with him and I think he is great at what he does... Just making an observation... Did you have a good day, Barb?

That, sir, is more than an observation. You were making a blanket statement in a question.
There is more here than you are admitting to...
Oh well...and yes, I had a good day, thank you.

Sorry, to disappoint you, but was observing in question form that if "all you" were saying it, could there be something to it... I could have asked the question, "are all of the 'you all' mentioned, wrong?"

I wasn't going to say anything but....... this one got a rise out of me!!....
The "winner" DEFINITELY wanted the office and openly campaigned for it! Which has never happened in the last 40+ years in the WD - due to the fact that when Bro. Price resigned at District Conference, it was a total surprise and there was no time to "campaign". This time the DS resigned ahead of time - which allowed for promises to be made if certain people were voted in. The splitting of the District was one such promise.

You hold this man in contempt for seeking office yet you talk in circles and don't stand up to your inferences. State your facts if you have any and speak clearly...otherwise you just sound bitter because of some history you have with him.

SoCali...
I think the only reason the "winner" got voted in is because he supported the SoCal guys and that is a well known fact I believe...
once they got garnished his support it was a done deal and now they get what they want... much politics involved here...

Price was great but lost it and should have moved on long before he did. There should have been term limits long ago.
I thought this thread was about Miles leaving? Yes he will let his dues expire nationally so his name dont get posted in the forward.

Mullings WAS a great Supt. He had my utmost respect. I think he got a raw deal in the end.
The only thing I differ with you is Price was also a great Supt. He, like Urshan, was able to keep the "family" happy. People got a long out of respect for who the leader was. When they left...it was open season. I am sorry that some used him a few years ago and some of his credibility was questioned....but, I still prefer to remember the Price I always knew.
