He is the main speaker along with Morton Bustard at Summons to Sacrifice in 08....
what year did he preach the sermon you're talking about? 06??? I think the conference is held every two years...

I believe it was 06, yes.
The STS is a meeting attended by probably more saints than preachers.
For him to rebuke the elders of the organization in a setting like that, which was supposed to be a prayer focused meeting, was...well, I will refrain from using the descriptive words that come to mind.
It was totally out of line and uncalled for, and I personally cannot believe they are having him back.

That seems to indicate that he is at least not strongly against that particular heresy.
There were other things he said also, criticizing our emphasis on Jesus Name Baptism for one. Again, he did not come out and state that he had any opposition to our teaching the essentiality of it, but when you criticize it, and turn around and speak glowingly of a man who teaches a serious heresy, it creates an impression that isn't favorable.

It seems you gave your opinion also. Sort of a CS commentary. Nothing wrong with voicing opinions or asking questions or giving commentary, that's what the Forum life is all about. But try not to be so hard on others when they do the same.

Who am I being hard on?
I suspect this may have to do with the other day when you asked Old Paths why he asked if the good Dr. was Black...
If so, please accept my apologies for offending you, but bear in mind that racism is an insidious and awful thing, and accusing someone, or even seeming to accuse someone of it, is a serious charge.
Commenting on the good Dr.'s ministry and insinuating someone may be racist are two very different things.

What does his behavior indicate to you? I concur with CS. I have listened to several messages by Dr. Jeffers and I hear a LOT more about Dr. Jeffers than I do Jesus. His ego got in the way of my hearing the many good things he had to say. I had to step over or go around Jeffers to get to the meat. That is my opinion and if that makes me a bad guy... well, pleased to meet you!
