Well, I'm just not seeing the importance of this missive (where did I hear that word used today? ...hmmmm...), anyway! I've heard untold numbers of folks predict that there would be a split over TV, so how is this one unique or special?????????

It kinda makes sense to me in a way...

it was a matter of vision or television, People who want tv have a vision of growth in their churches while the others-the issue is the tv

and it is true the TV did take the united out of The United Pentecostal Church.

So you are saying that anyone that has a personal conviction about TV has no vision?

Mighty judgmental today aren't we? Or is that stereotyping? condescending?
All of the above?

What about before the resolution, was everyone lacking vision then?

How about the churches who are currently in building programs, and determined to double drives, and more daughter works ongoing than you can count on two hands, and Bible study pushes, and outreach programs, and parking lot extensions....... but have convictions against TV.

So if they are doing ALL that, but don't believe in TV, they have no vision?

Well, you make a bold, judgmental statement like that, claiming anyone who doesnt agree with the TV resolution has no vision, and expect no one to counter the statement?

I'm kind of disappointed that all you would do is tell me to "chill"

We all say things a little different from how we mean them from time to time, make mistakes etc. I called you on your comment thinking you would clarify..... or confirm that's what you meant.

But quite honestly, your lack of comment, defense, or clarification just seems to confirm my initial impression was correct.

Like it or not, administration are held to higher standards than the average forum member, as well as being respected for what they do.

With that added respect, comes responsibility. I'm still holding out hope that you aren't really that judgemental and closed minded.

You could have taken this to a pm, but honestly reading your first post directed at me, all I could read through your comments was a bad and hostile attitude.

Your initial impression is biased by your own judgementalism and prejudice.

I have been around forum life to see where any acknowledgement given to you would only lead to some kind of unending verbal wrestling match-no thanks.

If you have a complaint towards me and my voluntary, position here as an admin that you do it the correctly.

Besides I was not posting as "admin" but was posting as another poster.

I did not say that those who were not for the advertisement of Television resolution lacked vision. If you took it that way, that is up to you.

But those that are for the Television resolution see at a way to reach the world.

I do not care to argue as to whether or not it right wrong, we have other thread for that.

Next time, I ask respectfully to you are going to address me like this, do it in a pm.

I'm trying to figure out how you came to the conclusion some said you had no vision?

No one said if you don't agree with the TV resolution you lack vision. BUT the ones who agreed with the TV resolution has a DIFFERENT vision than you do.

No reason why both can't keep their visions is there?

Amen! This was an answer to prayer. We have wanted for a long time to start reaching into our community with TV but it wasn't allowed. We did start preparing for the day that it would be.
