My favorite subjects were definitely English (including grammar) and History. I loved Home Ec (cooking & sewing) I also was hugely interested in Psychology in High School.
Math is definitely my weakness, but Algebra was one of the things I "got" and could do well. My theory the reason that I could do Algebra is because it had to do with letters rather than numbers.

If you would have had "lunch" as a subject, I would have chosen that!

Meanest teachers: 3rd, 4th and 7th grade
Favorite teachers: 1st, 6th, 8th, and High School.
I always loved school but the Jr. High years were hardest for me. I absolutely loved High School and had the time of my life -- both IN and OUT of school.

I was teachers pet in 2nd grade. I sold Mrs. Knapp peanut brittle all through school until I graduated.
I loved 5th grade. I skipped 4th grade because I was so advanced. Went from third to fifth. Mrs. Schroder would put our daily assignments on the board and when we finished with them we could do what we wanted to do.
Chip on my shoulder in 6th grade.
7th-9th I was at a Yuppy School. My English teacher turned me on to literature. When she was older and in the hospital for finger amputations r/t artheritis I would go in after work and read to her.
10th grade I made "A" s in Algebra all the way through...Mr. Stetler was one of the handsomest men I ever saw
11th grade I took 11th & 12th grade classes all in one year so I could graduate early and go to JCM. I was 17 when I went to JCM. I thought I'd marry the handsome young evangelist that i fell for when I was 16 but when I got to JCM - I discovered a dozen other girls who loved him also. LOL.
I struggled with Ball State University because of my belief system
My favorite college was...Indiana Wesleyan. I learned about grace.
Blessings, Rhoni

English, especially grammar, was my favorite subject. Math was second and then history. Science was never even on the list. I did well in all subjects but I never trusted science and I still don't.

I had a huge, huge crush when I was in the fourth grade but it was not a crush on any of the girls...it was my teacher. I thought that she was next to GOD. I loved that woman more than life itself.
I did not want to go to the 5th grade. I could have stayed in her class, the 4th grade for the rest of my life, so I thought. Then, when the summer came, she asked me to come to her house and water her plants. I almost fainted. I watered her plants all summer long. I'll never forget the first time I went to her house. I had to walk around the block three times before I had the never to knock on her door. When she answered the door, my knees got wobbly.
I survived that day and the summer too. In the 5th grade, I would go to her class room to see if I could wash the blackboard for her or do whatever I could. She could see the sparkle in my eyes when I looked up into her face. She would give me the sweetest smile and I would just almost swoon each time.
Aaaahhh, those were the days. My 5th grade teacher was mean. I think she was jealous that I thought so much of the 4th grade teacher. Anyway, I did not like her and she did not like me. I was sure glad when I went to the 6th.
