I know this isn't everybody's cup of tea, but she is one of my favorites, and I love this song. (Oh, and it could qualify as sad as well)

I really like certain types of Celtic music .... so I enjoyed Alison K. I like Sarah McLachlan too and have a number of her songs on my harddrive.

Ever hear tell of Eva Cassidy? I never did until a few months ago. She has a beautiful voice ..... mellow, soothing, bluesy with a haunting quality. She sings from way down deep inside. Sadly, she died at the age of 30 -- back in '98 I think. I've downloaded all her songs I could find online.
