Re: Valentines Day: Songs for Your Sweet

I know this isn't everybody's cup of tea, but she is one of my favorites, and I love this song. (Oh, and it could qualify as sad as well)

Right, you tell it, Girl! My husband is too sick to go pick up his boat this evening and we've decided to let someone else work on the outside of our house - sooo - no handgun for me right now. I guess I'll just get flowers or something else.

Awwww. I know it can be kind of lonely on a day like this one. Here's a *big hug* and some going out to you.

I really like certain types of Celtic music .... so I enjoyed Alison K. I like Sarah McLachlan too and have a number of her songs on my harddrive.

Re: Valentines Day: Songs for Your Sweet

Ever hear tell of Eva Cassidy? I never did until a few months ago. She has a beautiful voice ..... mellow, soothing, bluesy with a haunting quality. She sings from way down deep inside. Sadly, she died at the age of 30 -- back in '98 I think. I've downloaded all her songs I could find online.

Here's Songbird.....
