In the Colorado it is a tithe of all "ministerial income." Thus if a pastor also works a secular job he only tithes on whatever income he draws from the church and preaching out while his secular income is untouched by the didstrict. Most guys like this then plow the money back into the local church anyway.

There was a minimum payment per year for those preachers who didn't earn enough ministerial income to tithe appreciably. Most of these guys are unpaid servants in a church or ministers-in-training.

If dues means tithes.. than I guess we paid dues. My husband paid them to the pastors we worked under.

Hey there sis.

"Dues" are paid to headquarters. "Tithes" go to the district and the local church if a man is licensed with the UPCI.

so....... what kind of quality broadcasting can you do for free....???

I mean internet is a no brainer, but TV?? are we talking about using college studio with students or what??

Public Access TV, called We The People TV will allow people to use their studios, or bring in their own program, and broadcast it on Channel 17 in Houston. Some of it is very basic, and some is not. It is free, and they even train you.

Public access television. Low power television stations. Some cable companies have dedicated channels dedicated to local programming. The television station we get our free time on is seen in at least 3 counties, one a college town.

A lot of older people in SE oklahoma depend on the radio for some of their religious needs. I get to do a morning devotion for a couple weeks a year as part of the local ministerial alliance. I do get comments about it from all over parts of SE okla. (as long as the hills don't block the signal). While internet radio and web streaming is the wave of the future, there is a big part of the world that is still a few years behind in technology and not just because of religion.

I didn't think we had that a lot of Apostolic preachers who are millionaires. You make it sound like its common among Apostolic preachers. I would say it certainly is not.
