That's it, girl...a little flair is a good thing...love it!!
Learning to be patient is a hard one for me, too...mom wants to do everything for me, and I keep telling her there are some things I can do for myself.
*I did let her fix me some chicken soup today...it smells wonderful.*
I had chicken and rice for lunch that Sherri made while she was here - it's good. The chicken soup sounds good too.
Yes, it's a lesson that I'm learning - to let others do for me. I'm always the one doing for others and it's very hard for me to sit back and let other take care of me. I've been very blessed!
Hope you are recouping good too!

I've got my laptop by my recliner so hopefully I will be able to be on a little bit more now.
I'm doing pretty good I believe - just going to take time to get back up to full speed again and I have to learn to be patient!
In a couple of weeks I will graduate up to a cane. I came up with the idea of covering the cane in color fabric to be different and not just some ole lady using a cane.
I have a friend that has made a few covers for the cane and she will be bringing them over this afternoon. I requested a leopard cover and she so got into it that she's made a few more than I can change out to match my outfits - LOL!
That's awesome, Renda!!! I know you will just look cute as can be with that leopard cane!!
By the way, those crock pot meals are on sale at Kroger this week for $4.99 if you want someone to pick up a couple for you. I have the Dumpling one cooking now, and it smells wonderful. We'll see what Mr. Ed thinks when he gets home.

Renda,
I was too busy today to have adequate time to check on you, but I was thinking of you!
Wait until you see the card I ran across the other day!! Bwhahahahahahaha!
I showed my sister, told her about you and said, "I've got to send this card to Renda!" We burst out laughing! Tomorrow, I'll mail it. LOL
Glad you are graduating up to the recliner and so glad you will be participating on the Forum more!!!!
