Havent been around a lot.. a few things I dont understand right now about Gabbys in general and the whole forum... Like why we are told this is an apostolic forum and that we arent to tear down the apostolic faith yet this seems to be being done a lot by certain posters and allowed.. So just kind of watching from a distance right now. But want all my Gabbys friends to know that I love them and do indeed wish you a Wonderful Holiday Season!

PS I know that Gabbys is not for serious discussion and therefore I am ended this as of here but just had to voice it somewhere! There I am done... back to your regularly scheduled Gabbys thread!
I think the forum could be better name..."The Christians who love God"....one of the things I like about this forum is that there are several people like me who no longer belong to the UPC...but never stopped loving God or the people of God, just not that church....and thankfully we are allowed to express ourselves most of the time, I think most try to keep it factual, and without malice...there now I have put my 2cents in too...lol

I love it when my hubby is home....cause I love him only second to the Lord! Have a great family time...AG....hugs and blessings to you all!

Lol, you are too funny! We know a lady who would come twice a week for a total of $25.00 a week but I don't think she needs to come that often so we are negotiating price. Our house is small and we don't want any extras, just the main things cleaned (vacuum, dust, clean bathroom & kitchen floor & counters) So, we'll see.

Twice a week for $25 is CHEAP!!!!!

I use to pay $50 a week for one cleaning.

Hello and Happy Sunday Afternoon!!! We had a great day in LSU Tiger land! We are hoping and waiting to see if the BCS poll puts us in the game for the championship!!! Who would have thought that a week ago. We had a great day with my mom, dad and brother. The chili I made was a hit! I put a heaping tablespoon of cocoa powder in it- I saw that on the Food Network and decided to try it. I did not tell anyone until they had raved about how good it was. It did seem to add another layer of flavor to the chili.
We had a great service today at Church- The chorale sang one of my favorite songs- "He's been Faithful to Me". That song is my testimony- I really enjoyed hearing it. Our pastor, Br. Johnson, teaches on Sunday AM from the Sunday School Book- the lesson today was on the New Covenant- He did a great job on it. My bones feel fat!!!! Hope everyone has as good a Sunday as I am having -

Brother Ron...same back at ya...

Blue....sounds wonderful....i love that song also....He is faithful, and I am doing my best to be....

I will have to try the cocoa thing....my hubby loves my chili now so we will see if it helps or he goes "WHAT did you do to the chili?"....I love trying new things in my cooking!

Ahhh it is warm again...in the house we went on the toy run this AM and it was pouring rain, wind blowing and cold....but we had a great time anyway...we rolled right by our old church....that was an interesting feeling! I know how it must sound in there, because I can remember sitting there and hearing harley's go by and wanting so bad to jump up and look! There must have been about a hundered bikes....mostly harleys. It was neat seeing those little kids getting christmas presents...it is so nice to bring some joy to a child!

Awesome! So glad to hear it! He is indeed doing great things! We had a Bro I cant do his name justice but I think it was McKammey preach this morning and is preaching again tonight...We had an awesome service. I know some got the holy ghost just not sure how many as I had to leave early because of my kids being strewn throughout so many different services and getting them from point a to point b successfully LOL... (they work with different churches we have within our church and at noon I have to make sure they all get to their certain places so I had to leave )

Also please remember my grandmother in prayer. She is a bit sore she fell about an hour ago and is just in a lot of pain.. Thanks
