News is saying dome building damage in Chino Hills area. 5.8. The one in Northridge back in 94 was a 6.4 and caused major damage. Anything above 5 you don't take lightly.

That's what we got. I felt an initial jolt...a few seconds then rolling side to side movement.

There was an earthquake a few yrs ago in so cal. I was home (miiiiles away) sitting in front of the desk. I started to feel nauseas and it looked as though the room was spinning. I thought I was going to pass out. Then I looked toward the ceiling and there was something hanging.. and it was shaking. I sat still and was like... must be an aftershock..

That is really what it feels like, especially from a distance. I think when you are further away, it is a little weirder in how it feels. This morning, I felt just like what you said, like I was going to pass out for a minute, and then you realize what it is.
Even the Northridge quake felt just like a violant rocking back and forth. The worse kinds are the up and down quakes. Our buildings are built to sway side to side
