Speaking of alter egos, how many have you started just to chase after a poster you wanted to hound and discredit, after announcing you were taking a break from posting for a couple of months?

I also think there should have been some bans handed out over this.

1. The good Doctor, for false assertions.

2. Rico and Epley for their comments toward Deep Threat.

Calling someone a coward and liar should be bannable. That is, if AFF's rules have any teeth. This is not an open condemnation of admin. They were just being extremely merciful.

However, this was way out of line IMO.

This thread has validity.

Dr. Vaughn has asserted to this board that he has a legitimate doctoral degree from a recognized university. The claim to a doctorate in theology is consciously, or subconciously, a factor in every theological discussion that he is involved in on this board.

If the claim to a Regent University degree is bogus, so is the poster making the claim.

Anonymity on these forums has been a part of the process since the earliest days of the Apostolic Internet. The purpose of an anonymous user name is so that the question is answered rather than the questioner.

This thread is not prying into the subject's personal life, but is requesting verification of a part of "Dr Vaughn's" public persona, a part that he interjected into public discourse when he chose to be identified as a Dr. He could have adopted a generic user name, and, if he had, we wouldn't be reading this amusing thread.

I think you are out of control. You are more acerbic than the anonymous poster you are going after. Do you even realize your own hypocrisy?

And, I have used an alter ego to discredit lies by former posters. Quite effectively, as a matter of fact. I would do it again, if I felt it necessary.

While retaining the inalienable right of Apostolic people to publicly practice insanity, I agree with you.

In an era of widespread data mining we should all be careful when using the www.

On your user control panel you have the option of placing someone on ignore. That means you will not be able to see the content of that person's posts. It can be a very effective way of avoiding someone who gets on your nerves.
