Television in the home and the fact my parents allowed my sisters to wear feminine pants and jeans.
There were other issues, but most of it was my spewing of "holier-than-thou" negativity about my family to folks who were willing to become my new family.
Their intents were based on love.
The intents of my parents were motivated out of love too, even more so because they were my parents.
