Re: Met some AFFers this weekend.

Had a great weekend with my JCM buddy "Red" and her hubby! Maggie was able to make the trip too and they wanted to take her from me. Joe just lost his "best friend" and spoiled Maggie while she was there! While Red and I were out he fed her coconut macaroons and milk! She's his friend forever.

Okay, back to this bossy stuff. I believe OneAccord mistaken me being focused and organized as being bossy - - probably because he's one of those ole timey guys that likes to always be in charge.

It was good to meet OA and for him to meet Red and Joe - - I think he really was able to minister to them and there could be a friendship in the making between him and Joe. Joe has a 66 or 67 truck that he's rebuilding and OA's eyes lit up when he saw that!

Macho man OA didn't think his food was quite spicy enough so he asked for the hot sauce, then instead of sprinkling he DUMPed it. How's the blisters?

I remember on a thread where he admitted to being lazy - so that's probably why he thought you were bossy. He's just been too independent and doesn't like anyone telling him what to do. That's my opinion.

Good opinion!

Well, he did have a challenge. While Joe was taking a nap, Red, OA and I talked about the Gathering for about an hour. After we had worked through a few plans, Red and I decided to hang a shelf that she had not put up in her living room. So, OA had two women "helping" him help us hang the shelf.

He's one of those men that has to be right. Even though the shelf looked perfect, he had to move it 1/10000000 of an inch to make it perfect.

Whatever.

Huh...I believe the Bible teaches us "Be ye perfect..." now doesn't it? Oh... speaking of perfect... you know the banners we talked about? Got 'em. FREE! Hows that for perfection!

Re: Met some AFFers this weekend.

Never mind the blisters. Hows this for Bossy? I wasn't in Joe and Teresas house 10 minutes until Renda was handing me a hammer to hang some wall thingy on the wall. "Hang it here" shes says. "No...over here." Forced manual labor it what it is called. The truck is outta this world. Would love to do some tinkering on it... but... well, the distance is a factor. But, Joe and Teresa are my new found friends, and look forward to the day we can get together and head to the Antique Mall in Chattanooga.

Speaking of Antiques... Renda, I trust you and Maggie had a safe trip home.

That was a little bossy! What is up with that, Renda? We need to hear your side.

You may slap him for the last comment! I'll add my smack as well!

Excuse me, sir, but you'd been there at least three hours before we decided to help this poor sister hang her shelf.

LOL -- yes, Maggie and I had a great trip home - - it was quiet.

And just what is that suppose to mean? Quiet as in not having Joe and me talking about trucks, antiques, AC systems and whatever else we could think of... all at the same time?
