Look at the nature of Islam (particularly the extremists that would impose sharia law) and compare that to
Revelation 13. If the "ten horns and seven heads, with ten diadems on its horns and blasphemous names on its heads" of verse 1 represents 10 nations or multinational groups (like the European Union, the Organization of American States, or what may eventually become the North American Union) then do you really think sharia law would tolerate the kind of blasphemy (against God, obviously) being depicted? The way is being paved for a one world religion of "tolerance" and
diversity" that will eventually lead to worshiping the Beast (one world ruler).

Yes, God chose not to prevent millions of Africans from being slaughtered, etc. As for Christians being persecuted and slaughtered, Jesus said that this would happen and that the Church would be hated because of Him.

Occupy until He comes means to do the work that HE has called the Church to do in this world. What is that work? To go into all the world and make DISCIPLES. It is not our place to try to prevent Bible prophecy from coming to pass. The Church is a people called out FROM this wicked world. The will of God is to go into all the world with the gospel, not go into all the world and take over! Look back at Church history and see what happened to the Church when it got itself entangled in the affairs of nations. Look at the compromise in doctrine that took place when the Church started gaining political favor and power.
