been vacationing on some lakes in MN / Canada for over thirty years.

There's really no other place I'd rather be.

Going last week of July with family and last week of August with guys frim church.

Would leave in the morning if I found two other guys that wanted to go camping in Ontario ;-)

Wife and daughter going to nieces wedding in Charlotte next week. I gotta work.

Long weekend next weekend--->road trip of the classic single guy sense. Throw a dart at a map and go there.

Being single myself, the daughters married off now, and not a lot of money to put out, I'm thinking maybe of a road trip thru parts of Tennessee. There's so many things to see and do here in the State. Just start out and decide which way at the crossroads. May try to make it to the beach later in the year.

I like TN, have driven accross it the long way but didn't have time to stop and check stuff out

I am leaning towards --> Cape Cod, White mountains in New Hampshire, Niagara Falls, Gettysburg PA, Lake Champlain VT (with a stop at the ben and jerry's ice cream factory) or possibly a long distance to Prince Edward Island in Nova Scotia.

Hence the need for a dart to give me a sense of direction and purpose. Not much money either. Just need gas and sandwiches. Sleeping bag in the back of the SUV and I am good to go.
