Re: Can Women Pastor ?
They can...should they have to....?
It's up to God, not our opinions.
God enables (anoint) some women to do the work of the five fold leadership.
Be blessed in the name of Jesus!

Re: Can Women Pastor ?
You that think plural leadership is the NT model, and that single-model pastoral models are wrong... what do you think of the thousands and thousands of churches that operate this way? Are they in false doctrine to you?

Re: Can Women Pastor ?
No Women may not be Elder/Pastors. The qualifications for them all are aimed at men. They may labor otherwise in the gospel.

Sorry didn't mean to hijack the thread.

I know you addressed your question to someone else, but please allow me to offer my viewpoint.
I don't think it is a 'sin' if a pastor pastors alone, per se. I do think that that pastor is more vulnerable to operating out of pride, self will and more of a dictatorship model IF he/she has no accountability in their lives.
I also believe that churches that have co-pastors and pastors that equally share the load and weight of ministry and ministry-related decisions, delegated authority to make quality decisions for the betterment of not just their local church but the entire Body are less prone to burn-out or operate in a spirit of stress.
As we all know, many pastors get burned out by the ministry and decide to leave it all alone. I don't have statistics in that I don't have a computer at home, but if I were allowed time to research, I have no doubt that I would find that most of the pastors that burn out do so because they take on way too much....alone. They haven't or won't delegate responsibilities or authority to anyone else. They have to have their hand in all the pots on the stove, and some in the oven, so to speak.
This stems from a lack of trust within those in their leadership circle or their insecurity.
It's just like a single parent having to raise his/her kids alone. It can be done, but they will need the support, prayers and resources necessary as to not burn-out. It would be better if there was a two parents in the home, but we all know not every home has them.
The harvest is plenteous, but the laborers (who can be entrusted with the work of God, of discipling the souls) are few indeed.
Just some ponderings...God Bless You!

Re: Can Women Pastor ?
Thought just occurred to me that one of the most important ministries is to the children - reach them early - teach them the foundations they need so when they test the waters of the world, they'll come back to the foundation of truth taught - and know God for themselves.
